George and Pam Williams combine over fifty years experience in paint related fields and together
form The Visual Edge. The company was formed in the late 90's after they had been the owners of a
commercial sign company for twenty years.
George is a self-taught artist combining over twenty-five years in the sign business with twenty
years of airbrushing and painting.
In 1984, George, had a life changing experience when he met Art Perfetti, a brilliantly talented
Southwestern artist. Together they served the Yamaha Corporation, The Harley Owners Group
and numerous independent promoters at their events. Art, not only a talented artist, became
George's mentor and friend with a bond that is usually reserved only for brothers.
George also gives credit to Mike Robbins and Dan Kite for the influence they were on the craft
of pinstriping.
George, being self-taught, has continued to improve the mastery of the brush, airbrush and
paint by attending many workshops. Some of his instructors are considered the highest in their fields:
Craig Frasier, best known for his Airbrush Getaways
and his book of Automotive Tricks;
Dru Blair, best known for both his Portraits and 'Star Trek' posters
Jon Kosmoski, master custom painter with House of Kolor Paints
George's abilities include pinstriping, airbrushing, hand painted art, vehicle graphics,
gold and silver leaf, hand lettering and design. Mediums included automotive urethanes,
sign enamels and water based.
